For the Protection of the American Cream Draft Horse
MerEquus Equine Rescue and Sanctuary (MEERS) is dedicated to the survival of the critically endangered American Cream Draft Horse (ACDH or 'Creams'). There are only approximately 400 registered Creams remaining in the world. The Global Status of the Cream has been listed as CRITICAL/NEARLY EXTINCT by the Equus Survival Trust in 2016. This rare breed is also listed as an endangered species by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy. Due to the rare and unique status of this breed, we reach nationwide to protect Creams in need. Help us protect the ACDH, and keep them from going extinct.
